In thanking our friend Alex YO2LDK for updating the screen in "Retro" mode, I also updated my version for 3.5 - 4.0 inch screens ... I fixed small bugs (which I have already communicated to Alex via Messenger ) and the new version V. 5.2b for 4inch was born .... download it from my GITHUB: -

йо2лдк ! Прошил , заработало . Правда сильно помучился то экран перевёрнутый то сенсор то энкодер . но всё позади и действительно RDS очень хорош . Всё отлично .Спасибо за прошивку и за ваш труд , очень понравилось .

yes, this was made it for my needs, with LCD reversed for that case what I have it for radio.
I'm very beginner in programming (even if i'm over 55) so, not at all "advanced" as you say
but, I love that retro analog radio scale from Binns (THANK YOU FOR THAT !), so I adapted for my 4 inch LCD.
Here is the my 4.0b version what I made it, inspired from 4.0 Binns, for cristal Cuartz, and 4 inch FT LCD with ILI9488 driver + touch, previous was for SI5351 osc. and that have modified pins , both have included and RDS info + clock, made it by Antonino, IU4ALH and all that in a big screen, is awesome..
unfortunately is not tEsted, because now all my 3 radios is in cases and this for tests is only for SI5351, but is only some lines of code modified so should work.. (and normal encoder number pins)

Hi RA3IAI ... this you took from my Github and put on your 4 inch screen, is my version for the 2.8 inch screen taken from Gert PE0MGB, and I named it "FullRds_V. 5.0b" .... it is not for 4 inches !!!!..... You have to download this file from my Github >>>>... "Vers5.2b_for_4_inch.zip" and you will see that it works great !!!

Did you use my TFT_eSPI library for the 4 inch ???
Find it on my GitHub. and you have to replace it with the one you find in the folder ..... users / documents / Arduino / libraires ... check that you don't have any other ones also in the Arduino / libraires installation folder ..., if there are, remove them and set them aside.
